Biography
Ana Danch is the stage name of Ukrainian singer, songwriter, television host, media producer, and philanthropist Uliana Myroslavivna Danchul, born Uliana Myroslavivna Latyk on 16 November 1987 in Lviv, Ukraine. Her early artistic activities and performances were documented under her birth name, Uliana Latyk.
She began studying vocals at the age of seven and gave her first public performance at the age of nine. During her childhood and youth, she participated in 59 national and international vocal competitions and festivals, becoming a laureate of numerous events, including «Червона Рута» (Chervona Ruta), «Чорноморські ігри» (Chornomorski Ihry), «Молода Галичина» (Moloda Halychyna), and many others.
Between 2000 and 2002, she was a member of the vocal ensemble «Мартин-хор», performing at numerous international folk festivals across Europe. During this period, the ensemble was awarded second place at the international charity festival «Чорноморські ігри» (Chornomorski Ihry) for its performance of «Щедрик» (Shchedryk).
In 2004, she graduated from Secondary School No. 29 in Lviv. She subsequently studied at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Institute of Cinema and Television, specializing in television presenting, announcing, and acting.
At the age of fourteen, she wrote her first original song, «Не плач» (Don't Cry), which was recorded in collaboration with Ukrainian composer Andrii Bakun.
Between 2005 and 2006, she was the lead vocalist of the Ukrainian girl group Dessert. From 2006 to 2007, she continued her performing career as the lead vocalist of the Ukrainian girl group TRISHI.
Alongside her music career, she worked in television and media production. From 2012 to 2014, she served as a television host and executive producer at Ukrainian Fashion Channel. In 2013, she organized the first Charity Flower Ball in Lviv to raise funds for the medical treatment of a child.
From 2016 to 2021, her professional activities focused on the creation and development of City Life TV, a media project for the HoReCa sector. She was the creator and host of the television programmes Life by Liana and «Діти і Місто» (Children and the City), which were broadcast on «Перший Західний» (Pershyi Zakhidnyi) and City Life TV.
In 2021, she resumed her musical career under the stage name Ana Danch. Since then, she has focused on Pop, Folk, and Electronic music, releasing recordings for international digital platforms.
